About the Founder - Michael Patrick Lewis

Michael Patrick Lewis is a career switcher who moved over from accounting to marketing in the early-2000's. "The Vulnerable Career Switcher" is Lewis' first published book, and provides an account of his struggle convincing marketing companies and/or marketing departments within companies that he was qualified for the job. Once he made his way over to his new career, new hurdles confronted him, and he had to work through those hurdles to "defend" his new career. Michael was born in Saginaw, Michigan and grew up in southern New Hampshire. He now lives in New Jersey with his wife (a career switcher herself) and one of their three children. The other two children have begun marking their own careers in Philadelphia and Boston.
